         the designer.

Elizabeth Klosterman, allied ASID

Owner & Principal Interior Designer

Before she was out of the high chair, two-year-old Elizabeth kept herself entertained by drawing pictures on the café paper placemats while her parents conversed over dinner. By age seven she selected the fabrics and designed the layout for her bedroom, and by age ten she designed her very own may day dress. Always particular in how things are done, it’s safe to say that Elizabeth was destined to be a designer!

Elizabeth is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design where she earned a Masters of Arts Degree in Interior Design. She also earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from both Clemson University and Converse College in Studio Art and Interior Design.

Prior to lauching Elizabeth Klosterman Design Studio in 2008, Elizabeth worked for Schelfe and Associates where she gained design experience working on both residential and commercial projects, and she was the Lead Designer under the guidance of Ken Pursley of Pursley-Dixon Architecture in Charlotte, NC. Most recently Elizabeth shared her talents as the Director of Design for three award-winning custom home builders, Homes by Dickerson, JordanBuilt Homes & Gallup & LaFitte. Throughout her career, Elizabeth has continued to further her knowledge of design one experience at a time and is always ready for new opportunities to share her design expertise.

Elizabeth is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers and Building Industry Association of Central SC. Originally from Sumter, South Carolina, she is a southern girl who loves fashion, painting, snow skiing, the Carolina Cup and Clemson football. If you can’t find Elizabeth in her studio, you are sure to find her at home with her husband Bryan, their three children Charlie, Thomas & Anna, and their chocolate Labrador, Chief.

"I'm a designer, which includes interiors, architecture, fashion, furniture, and lifestyle...."

" Elizabeth knocked my socks off, and I love, love, love how everything turned out!  She really went over and above on a tight deadline and budget to make my house a showcase. She's a pleasure to work with...the project was painless and easy.  She's got a great eye, meticulous attention to detail and cares about the final product - enough to be on-site during an important event, ensuring that every detail was right... right down to the cucumber water in a lovely pitcher. Beautiful. Thank you so much, Elizabeth!"
